“In case of emergency, call 911"
Message From the Chief:
Welcome to the Berea Volunteer Fire and Rescue website!
As the Chief of Berea Volunteer Fire and Rescue, it is my honor to extend a warm welcome to our community members, visitors, and supporters. Our department serves as a vital lifeline, dedicated to protecting the lives and property of those who call Berea, Kentucky, home.
At Berea Volunteer Fire and Rescue, we are more than just firefighters and first responders; we are neighbors, friends, and community members united by a common commitment to service. Our volunteer firefighters selflessly devote their time and energy to ensure the safety and well-being of our community, often putting themselves in harm's way to assist those in need. Every call, whether it be a house fire, a vehicle accident, or a rescue operation, presents us with the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. It is our duty to be prepared, to act decisively, and to bring hope in times of despair.
Our department has been a cornerstone of the Berea community since 1966. Through the years, we have grown and evolved, adapting to meet the ever-changing needs of our community while remaining steadfast in our mission to serve with excellence.
As Chief, I am immensely proud of the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by the members of Berea Volunteer Fire and Rescue each and every day. Our volunteers embody the spirit of service and sacrifice, and I am continually inspired by their unwavering commitment to serving others. Our connections within the community are what make us truly effective in our role as first responders.
Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the area, I invite you to explore our website and learn more about Berea Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Together, we can continue to build a safer, stronger, and more resilient community for generations to come.
